Dedicated to a life focused on what matters most, Tess Horan has deeply learned how important a healthy organizational culture is to producing trust, commitment and favorable outcomes. When she was a professional in the workplace, she experienced the direct correlation between the culture a leader creates and their business results; the direct correlation between leaders who create environments of trust and empowerment versus overwhelm and stress. This is what motivated her to become a coach, her vision that business results come from creating a sustainable, generative and innovative organization deeply rooted in trust and support. As an ontological coach, she is committed to bringing forth clarity, efficiency and meaningful results to leaders and teams within organizations.

Tess has worn many professional hats in her career including Corporate Manager, Small Business Leader, Certified Public Accountant, Consultant and Trainer. She has worked in PricewaterhouseCooper’s consulting practice, a Boston based real estate advisory firm and a small capital management firm while having a CPA designation.

Good leadership garner healthy teams and effective results. As a professional coach since 2001, Tess’s insightful questioning and goal driven conversations has exposed new possibilities to support her clients in reaching their goals. She especially enjoys working with newly promoted leaders and managers so they hit the ground running with a foundational set of skills upon which to build individual and organizational success.

In an emergent world, once something has been created, we need to look at new ways of working towards our goals, we cannot go backward. She has developed strategies to help leaders navigate these predictable breakdowns. Trained in Chinese Medicine, she has adopted a holistic approach to her coaching that includes distinctions found in the universal cycles that form the world around us.

Tess helps leaders and teams become engaged in their commitment, build the capacity to get clear about their goals while taking care of what they care about. In addition to coaching, she offers other transactional services including 360 feedback evaluations, leadership training, customer service training and effective communication seminars. She is an authorized seller and trainer of the TRACOM Group's SOCIAL STYLE ® products.

Her coaching training includes successful completion of two internationally recognized coach training programs; Coach University (2001) and the Newfield Network (2008). She currently participates in Newfield Network and Generative leadership Institute’s Coaching Excellence in Organizations program

Tess works, plays and volunteers in many parts of the United States and resides in Arlington, Massachusetts.

Tess has been certified by the International Coaching Federation as Associate Certified Coach
